G.2 LT – Parallelogram suspension seat post

This G.2 LT – parallelogram suspension seatpost represents the best by,schulz quality. This is illustrated by the 3D forged aluminum construction, which is aimed at maximum stability even for heavy riders. The spring mechanism, which runs on high-performance polymer plain bearings, guarantees finely responsive suspension and top riding comfort.

Damit engagierte (E)-City- und Tourenfahrer auf holprigen Feldwegen oder rauen Schotter-Intermezzi Maximalfahrspaß erfahren, gibts die verbaute Stahlfeder in 5 Federhärten – zur Abstimmung aufs Fahrergewicht.
Infolge ihres progressiven Charakters nutzt die G.2 LT gefederte Fahrrad Sattelstütze ihre 50 mm Federweg selbst bei wuchtigen Schlägen optimal kontrolliert. Die G.2 LT Federsattelstütze erlaubt kinderleichte Sattel- und Federwechsel; das Fahrergewichts-Spektrum reicht von 45 bis zu 150 kg.
Mit einer G.Shim Reduzierhülse kann der Rohrdurchmesser der Sattelstütze an das Rahmensitzrohr angepasst werden, sollte es Differenzen im Durchmesser geben.
Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Mudcover Neoprenhülle schützt vor Verschmutzungen und Witterung.

The parallelogram suspension seat post was developed to offer you maximum riding comfort, both in the city and on rough terrain. The suspension is designed to be progressive, i.e. the system reacts softly to light impacts and with increasing spring resistance to hard impacts.

When compressing, the G.2 LT parallelogram suspension seatpost dips up to approx. 33.5mm backwards and approx. 40.5mm downwards.

Thanks to the use of a heavy-duty flat wire steel spring and technical elastomers in the spring eye and on the inside of the arms, even hard impacts (e.g. when driving through deep potholes) do not cause the suspension to bottom out.
In addition, the rearward rebound movement is damped by the hemispherical elastomers in the head and base sections.
For optimum adjustment of the G.2 LT to the rider’s weight and riding style, easily interchangeable suspension elements with different spring rates and dampers are available.

  1. Make sure that the inner diameter of the seat tube of the bicycle frame and the outer diameter of the G.2 ST or G.2 LT seat post have the same value.
  2. Different dimensions can lead to failure of the clamp and to accidents and damage to property or personal injury.
    The tube diameter of the seat post can be adapted to the size of the seat tube using a reducing sleeve. To adapt the seat post tube, we recommend the G.Shim double-slotted aluminum reducing sleeve from by,schulz. The following diameters and lengths are available:
  3. If you use a reduction sleeve from another manufacturer, it should be made of aluminum and have a minimum length of 90 mm. Make sure that the reduction sleeve is always fully inserted into the seat tube.
    Check that the width of the saddle frame is compatible with the head of the seat post. It must not be less than 36 mm on the inside. Some core leather saddles are too narrow at the front of the frame and therefore cannot be combined with the seat post. Such use is not possible and can cause permanent damage to the saddle and seat post.
