We designed the 1 ⅛” Ahead stem with a steep 35° angle for an upright, back-friendly riding position – making it perfect for your extended urban forays on the handlebars of a city bike or on a weekend tour on a trekking bike. The Alpha series impresses not only with its new, clear design language but also with its 3D forged, robust construction, which is extremely resilient – also ideal for use on e-city / trekking bikes, where increased forces act on the bike. In combination with the by,schulz handlebars, the Stem Alpha +35° SDS stem forms an ideal, ergonomic and highly stable unit. The advantage of the SDS stem front cap is that a light or navigation device can be attached using the SDS link and adapter.
