The widely used Speedlifter Classic is the first model and original version of the popular by,schulz handlebar adjustment systems to score points with its quick, tool-free handlebar height adjustment.

This is because the height of the handlebars is crucial for riding comfort. However, there is no ideal handlebar height. A different handlebar setting is recommended for uphill than downhill or for straight stretches.
The differences are intuitively compensated for with the arms and back. This is tiring and can lead to pain.
With the Speedlifter, you can adjust the handlebar height by hand in seconds: open the clamping lever – adjust the height – close the clamping lever. It’s all very simple and tool-free.

This makes the system ideal as indispensable basic equipment for sporty city and trekking bikers as well as e-bikers. The handlebar height and riding position remain easily adjustable – even spontaneously on tour. It can be adjusted to an upright or sporty position.

The Speedlifter Classic handlebar height adjustment is suitable for different users and body sizes and is available in five different versions, with extension height adjustments from 60 mm up to 150 mm.
Clever: thanks to the vertical guide integrated into the extension shaft, there is no need to adjust the handlebars and stem once the handlebar height has been changed.

Speedlifter systems can be installed on bicycles with A-head forks with metal steerer tubes. Various versions are available for 1 ⅛“ steerer tubes with an outer diameter of 28.6 mm and 1 ¼” for outer diameters of 31.6 mm.
For installation, the upper end of the fork steerer tube should be slotted at the rear in the direction of travel and protrude at least 46 mm above the headset.
Speedlifter systems are available for threadless metal fork steerer tubes in various diameters and extension lengths from 60 to 220 mm.
The variants can be selected depending on the technical installation requirements for aluminum or steel steerer tubes.

With a Speedlifter Twist Upgrade Kit, you can convert your existing Speedlifter Classic to a Speedlifter Twist. This allows the handlebars to be adjusted by 90° without tools.
