On Saturday, June 27, 2026, by,schulz GmbH celebrated its 25th anniversary—under extraordinary circumstances.
With a temperature of 41.4 °C, recorded at the DWD weather station in Saarbrücken-Burbach, it was the hottest day the Saarland has ever experienced. At the same time, June 2026 was confirmed as the warmest June since weather records began. But one thing became very clear that day: genuine connections are stronger than any heat wave.
A Festival Full of Encounters
Despite the extreme temperatures, numerous invited guests made their way to Saarbrücken. Business partners, customers, employees and their families, friends, and long-time associates gathered to celebrate by,schulz’s 25th anniversary and raise a toast to a quarter-century of success. In a relaxed atmosphere, everyone had a wonderful time together and enjoyed the special occasion.
The diverse mix of guests was particularly interesting: families with children, bicycle experts, and cyclists who have been with the company for years mingled with international industry partners from Taiwan, bicycle manufacturers, members of the press, and sales partners. Numerous bicycles were on display, including bikes and e-bikes from Saarbrücken. It was precisely these diverse encounters and the exchange between the different groups that made the day so special.
Saarland Hospitality
Anyone familiar with the Saarland knows that there’s no shortage of great food and drink. And that’s certainly true of our anniversary party as well.
In addition to a wide selection of cold drinks, numerous culinary highlights awaited our guests. Whether it was the ice cream bike, the crêpe stand, the barbecue station, the salad buffet, coffee and cake, or the food trucks serving fresh pasta, wraps, and bowls—there was something for every taste. And of course, it wasn’t just liters of water and non-alcoholic beer that were consumed; the occasional beer or Aperol Spritz was also very popular.
Music, entertainment, and fascinating insights
The bands Jazzgang Too and Cool Slush set the right mood, providing musical accompaniment for the anniversary and creating a lively atmosphere.
The supporting program also offered many highlights: In addition to the keynote speech, there was a raffle and a wheel of fortune, which provided guests with additional entertainment and pleasant surprises.
Many visitors took the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at by,schulz and explore the new facilities. The numerous conversations between customers, specialty retailers, manufacturers, and partners once again highlighted just how valuable face-to-face interaction is for our industry.
Strong Partnerships – Regional and International
The anniversary party brought together people from a wide variety of fields. Numerous manufacturers and media representatives from Germany were in attendance, as were our long-standing producers and partners from Taiwan.
It is precisely this blend of regional ties and international collaboration that has defined by,schulz for the past 25 years. The anniversary provided the perfect setting for the staff to get to know the sales partners and international business partners in person, exchange ideas, and forge new connections.
